Create your bot
Paste the address of a page of your WordPress site: Causerie reads it and drafts the bot. Then let it explore the whole site, tick the pages, posts and product sheets it should know (up to 200), and add your PDFs.

How do I install an AI chatbot on WordPress?
Two ways with Causerie. On every plan, Free included: copy the one-line tag before </body> (Appearance → Theme Editor → footer.php, your page builder or a code snippet plugin). With the official plugin (Plugins → Add New → “CauserieBot”): paste an API key created in the dashboard (available on every plan, Free included), load your chatbots and pick yours. Either way, it takes 2 minutes.
Is the Causerie plugin compatible with my WordPress theme?
Yes: the widget displays on top of your theme without modifying it (Divi, Elementor, Astra, GeneratePress, custom themes). It does not conflict with your existing plugins and loads deferred so it does not slow your site down.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Yes, and it is one of the most common use cases: the bot answers from the product pages you import, on specifications, delivery times and returns. It captures the email of hesitating customers before they abandon their cart.
Is there really a free WordPress AI chatbot?
